Ready to Serve?
The church will never be a fully functioning body without every member doing their part. For this reason, it is vital that each of us finds a place to serve within the church. There are plenty of opportunities to begin serving Awaken City Church every Sunday morning. Before you begin serving, we encourage you to review our church values! What Does the Bible Say?
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. – 1 Peter 4:10-11
Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! – Psalm 100:2
“For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” – Galatians 5:13
“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone.
